Poetry in motion...
Ephesians 2:10
For we are God's workmanship(Greek: Poema - A spoken work of art),
created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
We are God's poetry (greek: Poema) a spoken work of art.
God creates by speaking things into existance..
And God said let there be light... and there was...
God spoke us into existance as new creations,
we are born of the WORD of God,
we are God-Breathed...
..poems of His very heart.
Philippians 1:6b
..He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
The "good work" is the finishing touches on our new nature.
When we are born again it is our spirit that is made new.
Our soul (mind, will, and emotions) is not changed.
Hebrews 10:39 KJV
But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
1st Peter 1:9 NIV
you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
1st Peter 1:9 KJV
Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls
We must partake of the salvation of our soul...
which is a process of relearning, retraining, growing into who we already are by inate nature.
It is litterally the end result, or goal, of our faith....
This is why Paul said in 2 Corinthians 5:16 "henceforth judge we no man(or woman) after the flesh(apearances, behaviors),
therefore if any man(or woman) be in Christ, then they are a new creation,
behold the old has gone the new has come, and all things are of God."
And why he said in Romans 2:14+15, "and if the Gentiles do by nature the things required of the Law,
then they have become a law unto themselves" or if you will,, "they have become a law within themselves".
Our new nature, the new spirit God breathed into us, the living poem of God that we are
defines exactly what God wants us to be, exactly how He wants us to behave,
it is the LAW of who we are. The only law we need.
By grace, we grow into the manifestation of this God-Breathed Poem
as we discover who we are in Christ.
We are truly Poetry In Motion as we grow and walk with God.
His poetry, His bride, making herself ready.
God looks upon us with far more affection than the author of the rock song "poetry in motion" describes...
To God we are far more comely than a swaying lady.
His affection is upon us, and He desires to spend time with us,
after all He came to Adam and Eve in the cool of the early evening,
the time of day that would be most comfortable to Adam and Eve,
to fellowship with them. God came to them....
God came to us, Immanuel, God is with us....
His desire to be with us is as strong today as it ever was.
We are His beloved poetry in motion, and He loves to spend time with us.
